Local restaurant helps Sandy victims
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - We have all seen the pictures of the devastation on the East Coast. The staff at Jerry's State Court Cafe certainly did, and they decided to do something about it.

"It was a big disaster over on the East Coast so we're donating 20% of all our sales to the Red Cross and the Salvation Army," says Jerry Jones, the chef at Jerry's.

It could be that when East-Coasters picture Idaho they think of the back-woods country charm adorning the walls of Jerry's Cafe. But thanks to the restaurant's efforts, charity may be what comes to mind when imagining the Gem State.

"Well I think its typical of what Idaho does. I think we care about our country, the entire country and we like to show it in any way we can," says Connie Jones, a co-owner of Jerry's Cafe.
