Drunk woman skips taxi fare, bites officer in leg, BPD says
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - A 22-year-old woman has been busted for alleging biting a police officer, officials say.

Boise PD says officers were flagged down by a taxi cab driver Saturday at about 11 p.m. about a woman who tried to skip out on a taxi fare. The cab driver told officers that the woman, identified as Carmen Brashears of Pine, was refusing to pay her fare of $47.90.

BPD says officers spoke with the woman and found she had no means to pay the fare and she appeared intoxicated. Police say she began to run away from the officers. When the officers tried to stop her she resisted and bit one of the officers in the leg, police say.

Brashears has been charged with felony battery on a police officer as well as public intoxication and providing false information to an officer.
