READING, PENN., (KBOI) -- The suspect in a double homicide in Boise back in May has been arrested in Pennsylvania, police say.

Reading Police say 44-year-old John C. Douglas was taken into custody Monday morning. He was arrested while walking near his home.

On May 8, Boise Police says 28-year-old Elliott Bailey and 27-year-old Travontae Calloway died of multiple gunshot wounds at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.

"Reading Police detectives along with detectives from Boise Idaho arrested John Douglas today for a double homicide that was committed in Boise back in May. Excellent job in cooperative investigations," Reading Police wrote on Facebook.

One person has been booked locally. Samari Winn, 34, has been booked in Ada County on two counts of aiding and abetting murder and one count of aiding and abetting attempted murder.

Prosecutors say Winn led another person to the victims and that person did the shooting.

Boise Police will seek to extradite Douglas back to Idaho.
