McCALL, Idaho (KBOI) -- The wait is over for Brundage fans.

The resort announced Wednesday that it will open on Friday. There's about a foot of snow at the base with 28 inches at the summit, but more snow is in the forecast later in the week.

"Favorable temperatures this week have consolidated our snow base nicely, so we have just what we need to start running Friday," said April Whitney, resort spokesperson.

Tickets will be discounted for $36 on Friday for the Easy Street, Blue Bird and Centennial lifts. Skiing is already up and running at Bogus and Tamarack.
