BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Two suspects in the Emmett church fires are now in custody on un-related charges, police say.

On Monday, Steve Nebeker, Emmett Police chief, said two males have been booked into the Gem County Jail.

"We have collected some valuable evidence and statements that link these two suspects to the arson cases," Nebeker said. No arson charges have been filed and police have yet to identify the suspects.

In April, firefighters were called out to the Community Bible and First Baptist churches. Significant damage was reported at both churches. The FBI assisted in the investigation.
