BOISE - A unique conference for women, by women, is right around the corner.

The Empowering Women Conference is Friday, March 1st and Saturday, March 2nd.

The two-day conference at the Boise Hotel has two keynote speakers and eight workshops, focused on personal and professional development.

Everything is targeted specifically to women.

"I want them to believe that they can do anything," said conference organizer Kim Lewis. "That there's nothing that will stop them, no one that can tell them that they're less than - - and it's giving them an opportunity to really unleash that passion that's inside them to be who they want to be, do what they want to do, and have whatever they want to have. "

Keynote speakers include First Lady Lori Otter and Sheila Spangler, Manager of the Women's Business Center.

KBOI'S Natalie Hurst will serve as a moderator and emcee at noon on both Friday and Saturday.

The two-day event costs $99 and includes all workshops and two lunches with the keynote speakers.

You can register online or buy tickets at the door.
