Missing Battle Ground girl, 11, found safe, sheriff's office says

UPDATE: Kristina Alexandria Deryavko, 11, has been found safe, according to the Clark County Sheriff's Office.

KATU's news partners at The Columbian reported she was discovered in a nearby shed reading a book.


BATTLE GROUND, Wash. – Clark County sheriff’s deputies and detectives are looking for a missing 11-year-old girl in the Battle Ground area.

Kristina Alexandria Deryavko has dark blond, shoulder length hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a red sweater and black slip-on shoes with zebra striped bows.

Kristina’s parents said their daughter was missing from her bedroom when they checked on her Thursday morning. The family lives at 27721 N.E. Lewisville Highway.

Search and rescue volunteers have been called to the area.

Kristina has no history of running away, the sheriff’s office said.

She is 4-foot-11 and weighs about 80 pounds.

Anyone who sees Kristina is asked to call 911.
