NTSB begins examining Appleton's plane wreckage

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI)- Investigators with the National Transportation Safety Board have begun examining the wreckage of Micron CEO Steve Appleton's airplane.

NTSB officials expect to have a preliminary report done on the crash this week.

Appleton was killed when his plane crashed soon after takeoff early Friday morning.

The NTSB says it could take up to a year to have a final report on what caused the crash.
