OSP: Two busted for hiding heroin in Valentine baskets
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Oregon State Police say they have arrested two women from Phoenix after they found 5 pounds of heroin hidden inside Valentine teddy bear baskets.
OSP says that the women were driving on I-84 in Malheur County last Wednesday when they failed to signal lanes changes and were pulled over by a trooper.
During the investigation, OSP says the trooper found the heroin hidden in two gift baskets in the trunk of the car.
Officials estimate that the heroin is worth $200,000.
Sonla Marquez-Lozano, 22, and Yedid Zamudio-Vazquez, 20, were arrested and charged with unlawful possession and distribution of a controlled substance - heroin.
They have been booked into the Malheur County Jail.

Someone replied that these are illegal aliens......... Please illuminate me as to where in the article it states that they are not citizens?  Or you just assuming that they are? The article says that they are from Pheonix. Nice Obama comment you hopeless bagger!
While I am glad to see some smack off of the street ! I am curious as to what the probable cause to search was? Cops abuse our4th amendment rights more than ever these days. These articles always leave that detail out and it leads me to believe that there wasn't any.......  Warrants? Plain sight? (doubtfull as it was in trunk), Permission to search? (doubtfull).......
