Police say this Jeep is missing from the victim's house.
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - The Canyon County Sheriff's Office says a 59-year-old man was murdered Thursday afternoon inside his home.

Officials say they responded to a house on the 1900 block of South Powerline Road at about 2:15 p.m. after a report of a possible dead man at the home.

After getting to the scene, investigators say they determined the death to be suspicious in nature.

On Friday, investigators identified the victim as George Richardson, Jr. They say he died from multiple gunshot wounds. Police have not released any information about a suspect or suspects.

Detectives say a red 1997 Jeep Wrangler is missing from the house, and they are trying to locate it.

It is described as having Idaho Wildlife license plate 60EHE.

The sheriff's office is asking anyone who sees the Jeep to call police.
