Ada County just announced that the 2014 summer float season on the Boise River will begin next week, June 18.

"Even during suitable floating conditions, all river patrons should be aware that the river is cold and swift, and can present significant dangers at any time," Ada County officials have said. "People should always be cautious when setting out to float the Boise River, and ensure that everyone in their party has the appropriate life vests and other safety equipment with them."
Alcohol and glass containers are not allowed to be consumed while floating.
As always, rafters are strongly encouraged to take out at the designated Ann Morrison location.
