BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- Two Treasure Valley men were busted for shooting numerous handgun rounds into the parking lot at Firebird Raceway over the weekend, authorities said on Monday.
The sheriff says when the first deputy arrived at about 4:30 Saturday, bullets were still flying in the air. The deputy had everyone in the parking lot take cover as well as about 150 people at the race track.
No one was hit by the bullets, however, a couple vehicles were hit by bullets. The sheriff's office says the area the men were shooting in was technically legal, however, putting the public in danger, was illegal.
The Ada County Sheriff's Office ended up citing Peter Clark, 41, and Timothy Carroll, 32, for reckless discharge of firearms.
