BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Bogus Basin expected to sell about 300 season passes this weekend as part of a sale.
"We did the math, thought 'You know what, it's a good idea, let's go,'" said David O'Neal of Star. "We missed last year's ski season so we're really chomping at the bit for this year."
The two-day deal featured $299 passes, a savings of $130 compared to the full price of $429.
"Bogus is so close that it's a great way for us to spend time together as a family, and it's so reasonably priced," said Christine Buttars of Boise.
The slopes typically open between Thanksgiving and the first week of December.
"Well, we're looking forward to a good ski year," O'Neal said. "We figured it snowed just a few days ago, there's some wonderful snow on the foothills, why not give it a shot? Last year wasn't so great, so it's bound to be a good one."
The $299 deal expires on the Bogus Basin website at midnight. The price is $389 through the end of November.
