Former Bronco Helmandollar to coach Wendell High
Sources at KBOI 2 Sports partner website idahosports.com have confirmed that former Boise State running back Jon Helmandollar has been hired as the head football coach at Wendell High School.

Helmandollar will replace Brad Neuendorf, who led the Trojans to a 2-6 record in the 2A Canyon conference last season. The team was 0-4 on the road.

Helmandollar played running back and fullback for the Broncos between 2004 and 2007, but after a stellar freshman season (231 yards and 14 touchdowns on 46 carries) the remainder of his college career was marked by off the field troubles which eventually led to his dismissal from Boise State football prior to the 2007 season.

More on this story coming up Friday on KBOI 2 Sports at 5:30 and 10pm with J Bates.
