Boise State's dominating defense

Boise State's dominating defense
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - The 2012 Broncos love taking the ball away from their opponents. Their 15 fumble recoveries rank second in the nation, and first in the Mountain West Conference.

Almost as impressive are their 14 interceptions, which ranks second in the conference, and just outside the top ten in all of the FBS.

Despite losing a lot of defensive talent to the NFL, the Broncos defense has found a way to get even better than last year. So, what's the secret Coach Pete?

"I don't know, I really don't, no idea. Wish I did, and I wouldn't tell you (laugh ... you'd sell it) I don't even think I'd do that, I'd keep it for ourselves. You know I think it's just a combination of, you know, guys doing their job, playing with great energy, and being physical and tackling pretty well. I think you put all those things together, you're gonna get some turnovers," said head coach Chris Petersen.

Bronco Nation hopes the turnovers keep coming in the home finale against Colorado State.

Kickoff at Bronco Stadium is 1:30 pm (MTN) but you'll want to tune in for our Chili's Game Day coverage starting at 12:30 pm (MTN).
