BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - The NCAA granted Boise State softball player Devon Bridges a fifth year of eligibility, the school announced Sunday.
Bridged appeared in 13 games last season but was sidelined by a back injury. The Broncos finished two games back of conference champion San Diego State.
Bridges is the team's all-time home run leader with 43. She's also hitting .373 with 153 runs batted in.
"I'm looking forward to having another year," Bridges said in a Boise State release. "I love Boise and this team and feel blessed that I was given another year to play. I'm trying to just take this year and enjoy it as much as I possibly can and get back on the field with the team."
Bridges is a three-time all-conference pick.
