BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Anthony Drmic scored 22 points to lead Boise State to a 77-72 victory over UNLV on Saturday night.

Derrick Marks added 17 points as the Broncos (15-6, 3-4 Mountain West) led wire-to-wire.

Anthony Bennett scored 25 points and Anthony Marshall added 18 points and matched a career-high with 12 assists for UNLV (17-5, 4-3).

The Rebels trailed 73-64 after a 3-pointer by Marks with 3:34 remaining and scored the next eight points, pulling within one on a 3-pointer by Marshall with 33 seconds left. Marks and Drmic each hit two free throws in the final seven seconds.

UNLV forward Mike Moser was ejected with 4:07 remaining in the first half after receiving a flagrant 2 foul for delivering a forearm to the head of Drmic on a breakaway.

Boise State led 42-35 at halftime and boosted its advantage to 55-43 on Drmic's 3-pointer with 13:18 remaining.

Ryan Watkins added 12 points for Boise State before fouling out. Guard Jeff Elorriaga had 11 points after missing three of the past four games with concussion-like symptoms.

The Broncos had a 66-56 advantage with over 7 minutes remaining before UNLV made a spirited run. The Rebels cut their deficit to 73-69 on two free throws by Bennett with 2:37 remaining.

Boise State's Kenny Buckner and Mikey Thompson each missed the front ends of one-and-one free-throw attempts prior to Marshall draining a 3-pointer from the left wing to make it a one-point game.

Marks missed a front-end free throw with 23.2 seconds remaining and UNLV had a chance to take its first lead of the contest but Bennett missed from 3-point range with 14 seconds left.

Marks hit two free throws with 7 seconds left and Drmic added two with 5.9 seconds remaining to seal Boise State's ninth home win in 10 attempts.

UNLV fell behind 11-2 over the opening four minutes and the challenge became steeper with the loss of Moser.

The Rebels were trailing by five points when Drmic was cruising in for a layup. Moser never gave in and delivered a forearm to Drmic's head and knocked him to the floor.

Moser was ejected and Drmic hit the two free throws. He connected on two more 7 seconds later to give the Broncos a 40-31 advantage.
