BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State football team has agreed to a home-and-home series with Cincinnati, and a home game with Idaho State in 2015, Director of Athletics Mark Coyle announced Thursday.

The Broncos and Bearcats will meet in Boise Sept. 21, 2019, and then in Cincinnati Sept. 26, 2020.

The Bengals will play at Bronco Stadium Sept. 19, 2015.

“We’re thrilled to add another home-and-home series against a high-quality opponent like Cincinnati to our schedule,” Coyle said. “With Florida State and BYU also on the schedule in 2019 and 2020, Bronco Nation is going to have the opportunity to watch some great football.

“We are also excited to round out our 2015 nonconference schedule with a regional opponent like Idaho State. It’s a rivalry that goes back a long ways, and we’re happy to continue it.”

The Broncos hold a 24-6 advantage all-time against the Bengals, a series that dates back to a 27-20 victory for Boise State, Nov. 2, 1968. The schools have met just twice since Boise State joined what is now the Football Bowl Subdivision in 1996. The Broncos won 62-0 Sept. 6, 2003, and 49-7 Aug. 30, 2008. Both games were at Bronco Stadium.

Boise State and Cincinnati, which have not previously met in football, will exchange a guarantee of $300,000.

The series with the Bearcats is the second series with the American Athletic Conference announced by Boise State in the last year. The Broncos will also play a home-and-home series with Connecticut, with Boise State traveling to East Hartford, Conn., Sept. 13, 2014, and the Huskies returning to play at Bronco Stadium, Sept. 8, 2018.
