Famous Idaho Potato Bowl happy to have San Diego State
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - We're less than two weeks away from the kickoff to college football bowl season and Boise's own Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.

The only bowl played on The Blue will see a Mountain West team for the first time in San Diego State.

"Quite honestly, we've always had Buffalo on our list for quite awhile. I think our big surprise was San Diego State. You know, they've knocked off Boise State two years in a row, so we knew with San Diego State we're really getting a terrific team," said Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Executive Director Kevin McDonald.

But will their fans travel to see the Aztecs play in chilly temperatures on the first day of Winter? Or will Bronco Stadium be filled with BSU fans hoping to cheer against them?

We'll all find out on December 21. Kickoff is 3:30 pm (MT) on ESPN.
