Chase Schaber's back-hander from the slot beat Ontario goalie Jean-Francois Berube in overtime to give the Steelheads a 2-1 game six win, and a 3-2 series lead.

Idaho ran into a series of unlucky bounces, and came out flat in the first ten minutes. Ontario took advantage, poking the puck past Josh Robinson at 4:33 of the first period for a 1-0 lead.

"I kind of expected it," head coach Brad Ralph said of the ten-minute letdown. Idaho beat Ontario 6-0 Friday night in game five of the series.

"We talked about that, coming out and winning the first ten minutes," defenseman Gord Baldwin said. "We didn't do it."

Robinson made some great saves for Idaho, stopping 38 shots. Berube played equally well, with 29 saves in the game.

"It was a very, very good hockey game," Ralph said.

Four of Idaho's five home games during the 2013 ECHL Kelly Cup playoffs have gone to overtime. The Steelheads are 3-1 in those games and 4-1 in overtime overall after a road overtime win in Ontario earlier in the series.

Game six of the series is Tuesday night in Ontario at 8 p.m. Mtn. Game seven, if necessary, would be Wednesday night, also in Ontario.
