BSU Football again in top 10% of NCAA academic ranking
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - The NCAA released its Academic Performance Rate awards (APR) for the 2010-2011 school year Thursday, and Boise State football was honored for the second straight year.

Thursday's awards are only the top ten percent of teams across NCAA division I athletics by sport. Boise State football was honored as top-ten for the second straight year. In the past, Bronco men's basketball (2008-09), cross country (2008-09), golf (2007-08) and gymnastics (2004-05) teams have also been honored.

This year's rates are from the school's final year in the Western Athletic Conference. Nine other teams in the WAC were honored, including the Idaho women's volleyball team. Boise State had the only football honor, and Hawai'i was the only basketball team honored in the WAC.

In the Mountain West Conference, Air Force Academy was the only football team honored for its APR.
