I went for an afternoon walk Monday and spotted the coyote. I followed him for a few blocks. He started stalking something so I turned on my video camera, turned the corner and he had just pounced on a squirrel!

Saw it trotting along the sidewalk on Fort by Elks & thought at first it was a fox. I must report it totally disregards traffic signals, et. al.

In the video he does look like a fox and I would have thought so too had I not seen it with my own eyes. The photo where he is going behind the stairs is where he was stalking the squirrel and you can see there that he is a coyote.

I saw the coyote trotting merrily through the intersection of Fort and Washington with squirrel in mouth heading northeast on Washington right in the middle of the street. It rates a FAROUT MAN!!!

That looks more like a fox than a coyote, but can't tell for sure.

We need more coyotes if they will control the nasty squirrels. They carry many diseases and there is no control of these nasty rodents. Furry RATS!

Does that Coyote work for the law firm where the picture was taken? Somehow Wylie C. Coyote as a lawyer sounds about right. ;-)
